Refreshlingly Thoughtful

This book is appropriate for any classroom teacher who would like to develop a professional attitude towards learning as much as possible from their own teaching. It is written to be used in teacher education, but has much to say to classroom teachers too. National Board Certification requires teachers to be researchers of their own practice and to be able to articulate their assessments and decisions about teaching and children's learning. Using a book like this will help classroom teachers develop more depth and intention in their teaching.
