Get this book if you teach English Language Learners!

I am a Visual Arts teacher in an urban district. Over 90% if my students speak a language other than English at home. I've been looking everywhere for a good reference book about how to best reach my ELL students, and this book surpasses my expectations. All of the best and most current research about Visual Arts education and English Language acquisition are synthesized in a way that applies to my curriculum. The book is very well-cited and can point you in other areas of interest, if you decide you want to look deeper into the various topics addressed in the book.
